For Rick Hilton and Jeff Hyland, their partnership represents a unique and dynamic combination of success, expertise and experience.
Both principals, along with the entire staff at Hilton & Hyland, have distinguished themselves as sophisticated industry veterans who are committed to redefining personal service.
Rick Hilton is the Chairman of Hilton & Hyland. Co-founded by Hilton in 1993, the Beverly Hills-based luxury residential brokerage firm specializes in select properties throughout Southern California, and is an exclusive affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate as well as Luxury Portfolio. A member of the Hilton Hotel family, Hilton has been a groundbreaker in luxury real estate for over three decades. He set record for brokerage sales in both Malibu as well as Brentwood. Highlights of his remarkable career include Brentwood Country Estates, which he developed as a principal. Located in the prestigious Brentwood section of Los Angeles where home values exceed $20 million, the gated estate community set a precedent for luxury development throughout the region.
Most recently, Hilton was the key component, acting as agent for both buyer and seller, in the record-breaking $85 million sale of the Candy Spelling estate (the largest residential sale in Los Angeles history). “I am extremely proud of Hilton & Hyland Real Estate and truly believe we are the finest residential brokerage firm in Los Angeles,” he says. Hilton’s business acumen and passion for residential real estate are complemented by his close friendships and personal ties with many of the most creative and influential people around the globe. Hilton and his wife of over thirty years, Kathy, have four children. They are active in social and philanthropic circles in both Los Angeles and New York.
Born and raised in Little Holmby, Jeff Hyland’s career spans over 25 years as a leading Real Estate Broker. In addition to being President of Hilton & Hyland, Jeff is the founding member of Christies’s Great Estates, Inc., and served as a past president of the Beverly Hills Board of Realtors as well as the 30,000-member Los Angeles County Boards of Real Estate. He formerly served as State Director for the California Association of Realtors and is currently on the Advisory Board of Christie’s Great Estates.
As an architectural historian, Jeff assisted in the publication of books on Wallace Neff and Paul Williams and co-authored the book “The Estates of Beverly Hills”. Jeff’s “The Legendary Estates of Beverly Hills” was recently published by Rizzoli. Clearly one one of the most recognized real estate figures in all of Southern California, Jeff was named “The Gatekeeper to Beverly Hills” by Town & Country Magazine, “Best of the Best” by The Robb Report and “ One Hundred Most Influential People in Los Angeles” by Haute Living Magazine.
