Retired basketball star Dwyane Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, are listing their Los Angeles home for $6.2 million.
The roughly 8,500-square-foot contemporary Mediterranean-style property sits on a promontory in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley, a popular area with affluent families. It has sprawling 180-degree views of the surrounding canyon, according to the listing.
Accessible via a private road, the five-bedroom property has three levels connected via an elaborate metal spiral staircase. It has dark wood floors, French doors, a home theater and a temperature-controlled wine room. Outside, there is an infinity-edge swimming pool, an outdoor kitchen with a wood-burning pizza oven and a lounging swing, the listing shows. Mr. Wade and Ms. Union bought the house in 2018 for just under $6 million.
Mr. Wade spent the bulk of his career as a guard for the Miami Heat before playing his last game last April. Ms. Union stars in “L.A.’s Finest,” a cop show, alongside Jessica Alba.
