As part of an ongoing commitment to the arts, Hilton & Hyland sponsored the Intstitute of Classical Architecture and Arts’ Inaugural Legacy Dinner in honor of Peter McCoy at Bouchon Beverly Hills Thursday evening. The event benefitted the Southern California Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, and will help the organization to fulfill their ongoing mission of advancing the practice and appreciation of classical architecture and art through four program areas: education, publications, awards, and advocacy.
The organization’s education program features academic lectures, field drawing classes, and studio classes and is geared for design practitioners and students. Their lectures feature prominent speakers from around the world who present on various topics, such as architectural history, the works of notable architects and interior designers both past and present, and cultural influences on design. The programs appeal to a broad audience including practitioners in the design industry as well as non-professional community members who share a passion for classical art and architecture.
The event, benefitting the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art – Southern California Chapter, underscored its overall mission by bringing together a diverse and eclectic mix of art enthusiasts.
