Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ennis House Sells for $18 Million

Representing both sides of the landmark sale, Hilton & Hyland is pleased to announce Branden and Rayni Williams represented the listing and Drew Fenton represented the buyer. At $18 Million, the Ennis House sale is officially the most expensive sale of a home designed by a legendary architect.

Majestically situated on a Los Feliz promontory with jetliner views of the Los Angeles skyline, the landmark residence is as much a sight to behold as the unrivaled view of the city it overlooks. Resembling a Mayan Temple, the property was built from roughly 27,000 concrete blocks in 1924 for clothing store owner Charles Ennis and his wife, Mabel.

One of the most iconic and important residential properties in America, the circa 1920s home has appeared in countless movies and television shows, most popularly “Blade Runner” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Most recently, it served as the backdrop for French luxury fashion house Saint Laurent’s Winter 19 collection campaign.

There are only a handful of residential properties in the world as awe-inspiring as The Ennis House.

Congratulations to The Williams Estates Group and Drew Fenton the historic sale!
