The week-long, motivational leadership program is the perfect fusion of a leadership conference and a summer camp, according to Charlie Gallagher, Executive Director of the LEAP Foundation. Bringing together 400 students from 12 different countries, LEAP allows participants to not only connect with other high-achieving students and mentors, but develop their own personal path to success.

Gallagher continued, “I attended this program as a student ten years ago and I’ve come back to build this next generation and teach them the very skills LEAP taught me – skills that are necessary for a successful life that aren’t necessarily taught in school.”

Whether its time management, interviewing, goal-setting, or how to study, LEAP graduates walk away with confidence,  purpose, and the motivation to bring their dreams into fruition. By sitting face-to-face and having the opportunity to interview successful professionals about their road map to success and listening to guest speakers such a Mayor Garcetti or singer Paula Abdul, students begin cultivating lasting and invaluable connections that will not only help them thrive in college, but in the workforce as well.

In fact, “It is so refreshing to see this incoming generation of influencers and professionals commit to their future. Some of the students I met with were already in the process of getting their real estate license, others intent on learning how to navigate the real estate world,” Charles Black, Executive Vice President of Hilton & Hyland, stated. “This program marks the beginning of not only short-term support, but a long-term relationship as their mentor and support system.”
